Amy Castine has been a bead artist and painter for over 20 years. Through her exploration of these seemingly disconnected art forms, she has found a creative language that is uniquely her own. Notably, Amy has shown her beadwork at the Woodlawn Annual Needlework show in Alexandria, VA and received award ribbons at every outing, including several 1st place awards. In her current work, Amy is working to expand her skills as a bead weaver and embroiderer as well as exploring the results of combining painting and beadwork with surprising and beautiful results.
