I have been weaving, dyeing yarn and dyeing silk since the early 1970s and I am still amazed at the magic that happens when two or more colors mix. That probably explains why much of my weaving involves using painted warps and why I so enjoy painting silk and the Japanese craft of arashi shibori (pole wrap resist).

At the Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery, you will see that my work includes woven scarves, painted scarves, shibori dyed scarves and wraps, painted yarn, and hats knitted from my hand dyed yarn.

I also enjoy weaving Judaica, such as prayer shawls and Torah covers. My work has been exhibited around the country and I have received several awards for my weaving.

In addition to being a member of the Potomac Fiber Arts Guild and Gallery, I am a member of The Weavers Guild of Greater Baltimore and the ArtSites Guild of Judaic Art.
