I was born in Washington, D.C. and have lived in Maryland most of my life. This rich cultural region has given me the opportunity to learn many different mediums of wearable art. Currently I am primarily working in wool felt, though all forms of fiber art intrigue me. I continue to learn about and explore quilting, clothing construction and jewelry making.
When I was little my mother used to tell friends, "Paige is off in a world of her own," sometimes said with exasperation. I now strive to get back to that place, part play and part meditation, where time and worldly concerns melt away, and I am focused on the journey of discovering what my hands will make.
Being in the Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery has helped me grow artistically and continues to be a source of inspiration and wonderful friendship.
